I love everything about this...the low porch, with just a few steps up to it...the double front door... the transoms.... the symmetry of the same assemblies, either side of the front door... the shutters...the exposed rafters.... the paved path.... the lights...the dormer....stop. me. now.
I think a little bit of everything I love will turn up in this next house... well that's the plan anyway.... aim for the stars!
Busy days. Have a great Wednesday!

So gracious and welcoming. This entrance demands you drink a cocktail!
ReplyDeleteThis is my favourite so far......

The front doors are fab. And the transom just adds to the perfection. Amber

Beautiful A-M! I don't think you can have anything prettier than a low-set Queenslander with wide steps leading up to the verandah. Such a classic beauty :) xx

this really is sweet & would be so nice to come home to... imagine afternoon tea on that porch, waiting for the boys to come home from school! ;)
ReplyDeleteLove this porch. No better way to enjoy a morning coffee with the sunrise or an afternoon beverage. What have you decided what you'll do with the outdoors? And did you get the photo I sent via Twitter this morning?

Oh I love this look! I love your blog for inspiration! I recently found you via the lovely Katrina Chambers and then on Pinterest! I'm a Brissie mum who adores interior design and all things that turn a house into a home! Great Blog!
ReplyDelete....the colour....the palms....the wide stairs. That's a good one!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! More photos here as the Project Wedding site mentioned above said that it was the Palmetto Bluff Inn...
